My Brand Story

My story begins not in a business plan, but in a quiet corner of my childhood home — beside my mother’s vanity. I was just a little girl then, full of curiosity and wide-eyed wonder. Every evening, like a sacred ritual, I would watch my mother open her jewellery box — a beautiful, timeworn treasure chest filled with glistening memories. As she delicately placed her bangles on her wrists or adjusted the tiny studs in her ears, I saw more than just ornaments — I saw emotions.

Each piece had a story. A gold kada gifted by my grandmother at her wedding. A delicate pearl necklace she wore on her first job interview. Tiny silver anklets that jingled as she walked around the house. In those moments, I realized something profound: jewellery wasn’t just for decoration — it was woven into the fabric of our lives, our memories, our identity.

As I grew older, that fascination deepened. I began collecting vintage designs, sketching ideas, and dreaming of creating pieces that captured both tradition and modernity. Pieces that held emotion — just like my mother’s box did.

And so, Maharani’s Box was born — named in honor of my mother, the original "maharani" in my life. Her elegance, strength, and grace inspire every design we create.
